Project Scope:
DJK was engaged to install a new Vertical Powder Coating Line ( VPL ) at Altus’s Aluminium Extrusion plant in Hamilton. The plant was supplied in kitset form from Italy and assembled by the team of Mechanical Fitters from DKJ. Due to the very high nature of this equipment, it required specialist skills operating from scissor lifts and knuckle booms. Over a 7 month period, thousands of pieces of engineered components came together to provide Altus with a state of the art VPL.
